Seattle Hempfest

Come celebrate Pride Weekend with Seattle Hempfest® as we partner with the Full Spectrum to throw a mini ball at Hypeherbally Shop in Everett. We’ll have door prizes and NFTs, a food truck (proceeds going to our friends at Jamaica Hempfest), and prizes for best costume. Categories include Canna-couture, Rainbow Regalia, and Black & Gold Eleganza Extraganza! Tickets available HERE

Seattle Hempfest® is working to overcome the setbacks that it endured during the height of the pandemic when public events were shuttered. While there are no plans to produce the big event on the waterfront this year, there are several fundraising events scheduled, such as our successful Four Plenty event at The Crocodile in April 2022.

With our eyes on 2023 for a triumphant return of the world’s largest annual cannabis reform rally, we ask you to support us by patronizing our upcoming events.

Originally billed in 1991 as the “Washington Hemp Expo”, the first Hempfest started in Volunteer Park where it would stay for three years. With an attendance of only 500 people and a staff that included about 20 members of the Seattle Peace Heathens Community Action Group, there was no way to know that we were sowing the seeds that would someday make Pacific Northwest history.

Sometimes a photo can speak a thousand words. HEMPFEST volunteer photographers have helped document so much of the magic that has brought us to where we are today. Our event is an eclectic mixture of culture, determination, education and self discovery. From one-on-one discussions to speakers’ panels, glassblowers to voter registration, our photo gallery has decades of history for you to see.
